Nailmakers Cottage Location

Nailmakers cottage is situated in a mews off Broad St in the heart of Presteigne, literally a stones throw from the High St with its small shops, restaurants and public houses. Being this close its hard to believe that it is so peaceful with no passing pedestrian or vehicular traffic.

Walking for all abilities can be found locally. Presteigne is only a couple of miles from Offas Dyke, Radnor Forest is about 7-8 miles away, the Wye Valley 15 miles and the Elan Valley one hours drive away. (spectacular scenery and dams that supply water to the Midlands).

Other local towns of interest are Ludlow 17 miles, Hereford 21 miles, Llanrindod Wells 20 miles, Knighton 7 miles and Rhayder 28 miles.

Activities that can be found nearby include pony trekking, fishing, bird watching, golf, go-karting, paragliding and flying at nearby Shobdon Airfield. Presteigne also has its own leisure centre with swimming pool.
