Nailmakers Cottage Accessibility

Access to Nailmaker's cottage is by way of a gravelled mews from the main street, the front door set some 30 metres from the main street. The roadway is level and accessible to vehicles and is suitable for disabled access. This mews is a cul-de-sac comprising of four cottages with adequate turning for vehicles.

Entrance via front door over small step, doorway width 760mm wide leading in to hallway.

Off hallway is lounge and kitchen/diner area. Doorways to both being 750mm wide on a level carpeted surface.

Kitchen/diner has 760mm door to large open area, defined dining area and kitchen with units and worktops on three sides. Cooker comprises a worktop hob with an oven underneath with drop down door.

Access to first floor is via staircase from lounge comprising a single step followed by eleven stairs 760mm wide to landing area. Bannister located left side of stairs.

Bathroom with door width 760mm, low level toilet 400mm high and bath 560mm high with electric shower. Disabled seat available for use in bath on request. Standard height sink.

Two bedrooms both with 760mm wide doors, in both rooms the furniture can be arranged for easy access if required. Bedroom one has a double bed and bedroom two has twin single beds.

Non-feather pillows and duvets in both rooms with poly cotton covers and sheets.

Remote control TVs in lounge and remote control DVD/TV in master bedroom.

Light switches and powerpoints at a sensible height in all rooms.

Good mobile phone reception.

Heating is provided by gas fired central heating with master thermostat on first floor landing and individual controls on each radiator. An electric coal effect fire is situated in the lounge.
